Amazing! 50 thumbs up!
By Christian Newby
Being adopted before I was a year old, I have a similar story. Mine went a bit further to the point that 3/4 of a year ago I not only felt like I wanted to commit suicide, but If it wasn’t for God stepping in a millisecond before I tried to commit suicide, I would be in he’ll no doubt right now.October Baby not only is something I can grasp onto knowing I’m not alone, but the messages found inside encourage me to look to my future,”I’m alive for a reason.” The book itself is written so amazingly, and the story is ‘moving’ at a comfortable pace for me, unlike other books that go to slow, or to fast.My emotions were most definitely matched at times or even more extreme than Hannah’s was. At certain times If I was in that situation, which is probable, I definitely would of lashed out to her parents, and pull the ‘I’m-not-a-minor-anymore’ stunt.I most definitely recommend this book to ALL adopted teens or even adults out there!~God Bless~

A great read!
By Pat
I saw October Baby several weeks before reading the book. I wondered if knowing the basics of the story would make the book less interesting, but it didn’t interfere with enjoying the book at all. I loved how this novelization by Eric Wilson filled in many of the questions I had after watching the movie. He added so much to the characters, developing the feelings that must be there in this situation, and the questions one has when all of a sudden your world is not the world you thought it was. And it wasn’t just Hannah’s world that was turned upside down. Hannah’s new knowledge drives a bit of a wedge between her and her adoptive parents as she searches for more answers. What did she find? Read it and find out!I read October Baby while on a recent road trip and could hardly put it down. It’s a great story and you will have all kinds of feelings as you read it. Besides being an enjoyable read, this book really caused me to think about some big issues and the many facets of these issues.

I was surprised this was a movie before it was a book. I had read the movie description and was glad when it came out in a book. Very good story. Awesome story of mistakes and forgiveness. Well worth reading!!!
