Many Christians cringe at the thought of talking with non-Christians about faith. But one important thing any Christian can do is understand their friends—listen to them and consider how they think. Then it becomes much easier to truly communicate God’s truth.

Faith Path
By Laura Davis
Faith Path – Helping Friends Find Their Way to Christ by author Mark Mittelberg is a wonderful addition for a small group bible study.Based on Mittleberg’s Choosing Your Faith, the Faith Path workbook and DVD build on his approach to relational evangelism.Unfortunately, Choosing Your Faith was not a book I had in my library (although that is soon to be remedied) and at times it made it difficult to review this study because it kept referring back to the other book. That being said, from what I could grasp I liked. The DVD was exceptional and I often wished that I had a group of people doing the study with me while I was reviewing it, just to be able to talk about the topics further. Here is the premise of the study taken from the back cover:Faith, everybody lives by it – even skeptics and atheists! That’s right. Everyone you know trusts something they believe in but can’t prove or know absolutely. They take it on faith. And if you want to talk to your friends about your faith, it helps to understand what they believe and how they got there. You will meet six people who looked at the world in six different ways before they embraced faith in Christ. Through the workbook and DVD you will: * Understand people who approach life differently from you * Recognize the danger of paths that lead away from Christ * Deepen your own faith in Christ and reinforce your reasons for believing * Gain confidence in talking about Christ with othersRelativists, traditionalists, mystics, authoritarians, and others – they’re all here in this book. And after you understand how these people think about faith, you can help them find a trustworthy path to the truth.I am going to pass this on to my own library and recommend it to our Pastor for the cell groups at our church. Keep in mind that if you do go purchase this workbook and DVD, you will want Choosing your Faith as well. **Amazon is currently selling Choosing your Faith for .99 cents so if you are going to do this study, now is an excellent time to order them!**

“Faith Path” workbook
By L. Wagner
I was intrigued with Mark Mettelberg’s explanation of the different faith paths: relativism, traditionalism, authoritarianism, intuitive, mystical, and evidential. His list of faith paths help to differentiate how people came to the basis of their faith, so that one can reason with them accordingly and lead them to Christ. He helped me to understand where I came from in my faith walk prior to receiving the Lord.Along with this list of faith paths, he also addresses the “Arrows of Truth” that point to the sixth path, evidential, that help you clarify these truths. I found them to be helpful. The last section helped me to understand the barriers people have to faith, and outlines how one can help their friends overcome them. Knowing these barriers, using the `arrows of truth,’ and knowing the different faith path one’s friend is on, in my opinion, is pertinent to pointing them to faith in Christ. This is a very effective format for small groups or even larger Sunday School classes, to lead people to Christ. I did not read Mark’s book, Choosing Your Faith, but it’s one I think would be helpful with the discussions in this workbook and viewing the DVD. The only thing that was confusing to me was the lack of definition of some of the groups individually. They were clumped together in one chapter. This workbook and DVD were provided free by Audra at The B & B Media Group, Inc., for my honest review. My purpose in reviewing is to encourage people to find good Christian materials to enhance their faith and pass it on to others. Thanks to Audra and B & B Media Group.

A Good Bible Study For Helping You Share Your Faith
By Stacey
First of all, I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Mark Mittelberg and his publisher for sending me a copy of “Faith Path” to review for them. I have always been grateful for this generosity, and I am trying to improve at being consistent in taking the time to thank these wonderfully giving individuals in a public forum. I really appreciate your time, effort and expense in making a reviewer copy available to me.”Faith Path” is a fascinating new Bible study by Mark Mittelberg, one of the co-authors/teachers of “Becoming A Contagious Christian”. “Faith Path” is an eight-week DVD driven study that is based on Mark’s book “Choosing Your Faith”, and takes the student on a journey through six spiritual paths taken by the same number of individuals before they chose to follow Christ. I highly recommend this study for your small group. This illuminating study will teach any student how to better witness to individuals who are currently on other paths of spirituality. The workbook is in a simple format – exercises to be completed before watching the DVD segment, and those to be completed after. The DVD segments are about 10 minutes each, allowing lots of time to share ideas with your small group and answer the workbook questions. There are challenging exercises to get you thinking about people you know and how you might be able to use what you learn to witness to them. This study is an engaging and practical tool for sharing Christ with those you know. It will give you confidence in what you believe, offer you protection from thinking that is not Christ-centered, and present you with information about the challenges you may face from people who participate in various belief systems.
